Meet-And-Greet Events with NHCO's New Executive Director Scott Shaffer

Dear NHCO Supporter,

It’s my honor to join North Hills Community Outreach as Executive Director. The job has filled my heart with many examples of how YOU are making a difference for people in our community: 

  • At the Allison Park Food Pantry, I met a woman who shared how thankful she was that our food pantry could accommodate her food allergies, thanks to your generous donations. 

  • At an In Service of Seniors visit, I met a woman who had just moved to the area, and had no support network. Having a volunteer take her to her doctor’s appointments will provide her with independence AND enable her grandson to use their shared vehicle to get to his new job. 

  • At our North Boroughs Food Pantry, I talked to a family who had recently immigrated and did not speak English but expressed their appreciation to our volunteers using Google Translate.

I want to meet supporters like YOU who make life changing moments like this possible every day!

Join me in welcoming NHCO’s former Executive Director, Fay Morgan, as a special guest at the event on September 5. All events will be Open House style, with a brief Mission Moment presentation at the midpoint. Cookies will be served. Please bring a friend, or a nonperishable item for our food pantry.
