Hold a Collection
Students and staff from Shaler High School held a collection for our food pantry.
A large portion of what we distribute to those in need is donated. And holding a collection is a great way to help.
You can hold a food or sharing project collection any time to help individuals and families in northern Allegheny County. And Students can get volunteer hours!

Create a flyer or social media content to promote your collection. NHCO is happy to provide you with content
Distribute your flyers wherever you plan to collect
Ask permission to place a collection box in your business, school, church, municipal building, etc.
Ask permission to advertise via school and church newsletters, company email lists, and local businesses
