Donate a Free Ride to an Older Adult

For only $35 you can donate a ride to an older adult and ensure they receive safe transportation to essential doctor appointments, the grocery store, pharmacy, and more.

A ride also helps prevent social isolation, and assists the senior in continuing to be part of their community.

NHCO offers free rides for seniors in the community thanks to passionate volunteers that provide transportation in their own vehicles.

This program is part of NHCO's In Service of Seniors program, which helps older adults in northern Allegheny County age 60 and older live healthy and safe with dignity in their homes. There are no income restrictions and services are free.

Your donation could also provide seniors with a ride sharing gift card if a volunteer is unavailable.
