NHCO’s Education Assistance program helps non-traditional adult students in need reach their education goals.

North Hills Community Outreach provides grants to non-traditional students to further their education. Grants depend on financial need and availability of funds. Applicants must live or attend college or post-secondary trade school in northern Allegheny County north of the City of Pittsburgh and demonstrate financial need.

Applicants should be at 200% or lower of the federal income poverty guidelines and live in our service area. Wondering if you are in NHCO's service area? Check out a list of zip codes here NHCO.org/offices-and-service-area.

Often, Education Assistance funds can be used for expenses related to attending any college or post-secondary school. Expenses can include tuition, fees, books and child care.

Spring semester deadline is October 15th. Fall semester deadline is June 15th. You may submit your application now and someone will follow up with you closer to that deadline date.

Need help with your education goals, please check out our Pathways Program.
