Ask the Attorney

Legal help from Ask The Attorney: free legal consultations

NHCO’s Volunteer Attorneys offer free 30-minute legal consultations to eligible residents of northern Allegheny County outside of the City of Pittsburgh.

Any noncriminal matter can be discussed, including divorce, bankruptcy, landlord/tenant concerns and more. Legal consultations are meant to provide advice and direction on how to proceed with a legal matter. Please visit www.pittsburghprobono.org for representation, help with criminal matters, or additional legal resources.

Interested persons must meet income eligibility requirements.

*The Allegheny County Bar Association is now offering interpretation services—by phone or video—in over 350 languages, including American Sign Language. Contact us if you are interested in utilizing an interpreter for your Ask the Attorney appointment.
