Who can use an NHCO food pantry? Anyone who meets income and residency requirements is eligible. We also offer emergency food for anyone in crisis.
To qualify, you must reside in our service area of northern Allegheny County north of the city of Pittsburgh, meet income guidelines and provide the following:
– Proof of income for one month (pay stub, letter from social security or bank statement)
– Proof of residency (driver’s license or utility/credit card bill)
Once you qualify you can use our pantry once a month for one year. You can reapply if needed. Depending on your zip code, you might be referred to another pantry in northern Allegheny County.

When you don’t know where to turn for help, North Hills Community Outreach (NHCO) has Got It Covered! Join us for an evening of rock'n'roll as we raise funds for NHCO's Sharing Winter Warmth (SWW) project. Through this project, eligible families will receive a credit that will be applied to their gas or electric bill in the new year.

KeyBank is partnering with Junkluggers of Pittsburgh to offer an opportunity to bring hard to recycle items such as computers, printers, cellphone, TV's, etc.

This is a free event open to the public. We are requesting each participant bring non-perishable items to donated to North Hills Community Outreach.
