Delivering Food to our Seniors - Last May with the help of 21 volunteers and the Ross Township Police Department, we delivered 161 boxes of food to vulnerable senior citizens in North Allegheny County. A special thank you to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and an anonymous donor, who helped make this happen for our community. We are committed to providing access to food to everyone who needs it during this time.

Keeping our Seniors Safe - Our Safety for Seniors Home Checks is part of our In Service Of Seniors Program. Volunteers visit a senior’s home to check for fire and fall hazards, install smoke alarms and recommend safety repairs and upgrades as needed. Two of our volunteers recently visited a senior’s home to install grab bars to help keep her from falling while completing basic daily tasks.

#OurCommunityIsOurCause - North Hills Community Outreach has been here to support the community for over 30 years. In that time, we have received continuous support from local businesses, schools, libraries, congregations, fire stations, police departments and so much more. However, over the last few months we have been astonished by how our neighbors have stepped up and shown their support. This crisis has shown us just how strong the North Hills community is, and how much we care about one another.
