NHCO holds various collections throughout the year, then distributes the donated goods to those in need. To qualify to receive items, families must be at or below 150 percent of federal poverty guidelines.

Sharing Winter Warmth
During the winter months, NHCO provides assistance in paying energy bills to more than 500 vulnerable seniors, disabled adults and families.
Personal Care, February 17 – April 20
These items are a necessity, but can be an extra expense that NHCO can help ease.
Spring Cleaning, April 20 – June 15
Cleaning supplies can be an extra expense that many low-income families cannot afford.
Back-to School, June 15 – August 7
We distribute supplies for students in preschool through high school.
Winter Coat Shop, September 1 – October 19
We collect and distribute new, or gently worn, clean coats to help our neighbors stay warm.
Thanksgiving on Every Table, October 19 – November 9
Every year, NHCO distributes hundreds of complete Thanksgiving dinners to our neighbors in hardship and/or crisis.
Holiday Toy Shop, November 9 – December 9
Every holiday season we hold a toy collection, allowing thousands of children in need to have memorable holidays.
