Services for Seniors

North Hills Community Outreach offers a variety of services that help older adults in our community live healthy and safe with dignity at home.

In Service of Seniors: North  is NHCO’s volunteer program that helps seniors age 60 and older live healthy and safe with dignity at home.

NHCO also offers, in partnership with St. Margaret Foundation, two no-charge Free Rides for Seniors shuttles along Freeport Road and the Route 28 corridor.

NHCO can help seniors  sign up for ACCESS 65+ transportation services.

Those who wish to volunteer to help seniors in our community live healthy and safe with dignity in their own homes can complete our online registration here. For more information, please contact Cathy at 412-307-0069 x 3313.  Or   register through  Open Your Heart to a Senior, a United Way-funded volunteer initiative, or call 2-1-1.

For more information on any of the above programs, please click on the provided link or contact Nancy at 412-307-0069. Seniors seeking assistance can call NHCO’s office at 412-307-0069 or call the United Way helpline at 2-1-1.
