WHO CAN USE an NHCO FOOD PANTRY?
Anyone who meets income and residency requirements is eligible to use an NHCO food pantry. We have pantries located in Hampton, Millvale and Bellevue. Using the food pantry can help you save money for other expenses. Our pantries offer gluten-free food for those who need it, healthy food options and fresh vegetables and fruits. We also offer emergency food for anyone in crisis.
To qualify, you must reside in our service area of northern Allegheny County north of the city of Pittsburgh, meet income guidelines and provide the following:
- Proof of income for one month (pay stub, letter from social security or bank statement)
- Proof of residency (driver’s license or utility/credit card bill)
Once you qualify, you can use our pantry once a month for one year, at which point you may reapply. Please note that depending on your zip code, you might be referred to another pantry in northern Allegheny County.
