Youth Leadership Opportunities at NHCO

NHCO is always happy to assist local students with their senior projects, Eagle Scout or other community service project, or volunteer requirements. Senior/Eagle Scout/Community Project Ideas

• Food drive
• Collect for Sharing Projects (need some tips for collecting?)
• Develop Family Savings Account presentation for schools
• Perform yard work for seniors in the Faith In Action program
• Provide companionship to a senior through the Faith in Action program
• Help develop an organic vegetable garden in Bellevue for the food pantry
• Ring the Salvation Army kettle bells
• Unload, inspect and carry fruit during annual Citrus Sale
• Wrap presents during holiday gift wrap
• Raise funds for NHCO by participating with family and friends in the annual Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community
• Be a "runner" at the North Boroughs Food Pantry on Thursday evenings.
• Sort and assemble backpacks and supplies for Back-to-School in July and August.
• Sponsor your own fundraising event to benefit NHCO
