Let’s Cook was a series of free food preparation workshops designed to help people learn how to cook healthy food on a budget and overcome food desert barriers. The workshops were led by a University of Pittsburgh professor, grad students, guest chefs and food specialists.
The class met monthly in the Christ Lutheran Church, Millvale, and students learned everything from fermenting food to steaming, sauteing and spiralizing vegetables and much more.
